The Invictus Games Foundation Conversation focuses on the long-term effects of amputation, and draws from the experiences of its Invictus community from campaigns in Iraq and Afghanistan as well as more recent deployments.

We regularly hold virtual or in person conferences to bring together the international community to address challenges and discuss solutions to recovery pathways. Whilst the IGF Conversation series was borne out of necessity to keep the Invictus community connected during the pandemic; it has evolved into a critical offering of support and engagement in our ‘beyond the games’ activity. Sharing best practice, shining a light on challenges and opportunities facing our global WIS community.

The next iteration of the IGF Conversation is fully virtual, and taking place on July 19th 14.00 UK Time. It will be focused on the Invictus Games Foundation’s activities beyond the Games.
Through sharing best practice, we influence the development of research and knowledge around trauma recovery, rehabilitation, and the power of sport, in order to shift attitudes towards disability and mental health.
