Finnish tech startup, Human Mobile Devices (HMD), on Sunday (March 2, 2025) showcased some exciting products at the ongoing Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona, Spain. It includes the Fusion X1, HMD Barca 3210 and HMD Barca Fusion with detox mode, HMD 130 and 150 Music, and HMD 2660 feature phones.
HMD also displayed the Amped Buds that can wirelessly charge the compatible smartphones. It comes with a 1600mAh reverse charging case. Amped Buds feature Active Noise Cancellation (ANC), Equalisation (EQ) control via the Android and iOS app, and Environmental Noise Cancellation (ENC).
HMD Fusion X1 is developed in partnership with Xplora subscription for teenagers with parental controls and no social media and or internet unless enabled by the teen’s guardian.
With a starting from €4.99 per month fee, parents can customise app and internet access, allowing to choose no social media and internet browsing or limiting them. It also includes continuous location tracking at 20 second intervals with safe zones, emergency SOS calling, low battery alerts, and remote device access for parents.

It has School Mode function that minimise usage during school hours by locking specific apps and features when needed. All of these settings can be managed remotely through the Xplora app, on the parents’ own device.
HMD is also working with SafeToNet to integrate real-time protection against harmful content on HMD phones. HMD will be the first mobile provider to use this technology, which provides on-device AI-powered protection that automatically detects and blocks harmful content before it reaches the user.
For the Barca phones, HMD tied up with FC Barcelona with a fan-focused highlights including a note from Lewandowski and other Barca players. The HMD Barça 3210 features hidden messages from players, custom wallpapers, and even Snake on the pitch. HMD Barça Fusion adds smarts to the mix, as well as signatures.
The HMD 130 and 150 Music feature phone claim last for up to a month on a single charge in standby. They have Bluetooth 5.0 and microSD card support (up to 32 GB), and Bluetooth speaker playback. HMD 130 has a dual torch at the top, and the HMD 150 has a QVGA camera.
HMD 2660 Flip feature phone has a 2.8-inch display, FM radio, and 0.3MP camera.
