
Wake Forest SPS, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, provides professional education programs, including online degrees and certifications, with a focus on workforce development. Springboard is an online learning company that offers career-focused training in technology fields, with a curriculum developed in collaboration with industry experts.
The bootcamps will focus on cybersecurity, data analytics, and software engineering, with additional courses in data science, machine learning & AI, and UI/UX design launching later this year.
The collaboration comes as Charlotte’s technology sector continues to grow, with major companies such as Microsoft and Lowe’s investing in tech campuses in the region. .
Three programs are currently open for enrollment:
Cybersecurity – Covers risk management, data privacy, security, and threat intelligence.
Data Analytics – Focuses on interpreting and visualizing data using SQL, Python, Excel, and Tableau to support data-driven decision-making.
Software Engineering – Provides training in front-end and back-end development, database management, and emerging AI-driven technologies such as prompt engineering.
Additional bootcamps in data science, machine learning & AI, and UI/UX design are scheduled to launch later in 2025.
Springboard’s bootcamps are structured for working professionals, with a self-paced format allowing students to complete coursework in 6-9 months with 15-20 hours of study per week.
The curriculum includes:
Technical coursework aligned with industry standards.
One-on-one mentorship from professionals in the field.
Real-world projects to build a portfolio.
Career coaching to support job placement and career transitions.

The first cohort begins on March 17, 2025, with enrollment now open.
