ICANN paves the way for domain switching – telegrafi.com

The Internet will undergo one of the biggest changes in history, while private companies or users who open addresses, can use instead of “com”, their company name or any kind of suffix.
The Internet Corporation for Assigned Names (ICANN), a global body for naming Internet domains, has voted in favor of its change based on preferences. This means that instead of the suffix “com” or “net” you can put “telegrafi”, or any type of designation selected by the board of a private company.
The changes will start from January 12 next year. There are currently 22 domains in the world. /Telegraph/
