I like this program because it encourages two aspects that are very important to NCTI: improving education for kids with special needs, and collaboration among people with different expertise (research, software, hardware, special education, learning tools, and learning environments). They highlight areas that technology can help with learning, and offer the potential for some meaningful findings, especially given NCTI’s criteria of a short turn-around time.
