India’s aspiration to lead the Global South finds strong resonance in its relationship with Africa, a continent that shares similar historical trajectories and developmental aspirations. Under the visionary leadership of Dr. Manmohan Singh, the India-Africa Forum Summit (IAFS) was institutionalized, marking a turning point in India-Africa relations.
