On November 8, U.S. Commercial Service of U.S. Embassy Prague organized a panel discussion “Future of Internet: Challenges and opportunities to the society and global economy” in cooperation with Meta. The discussion featured Patrik Tovaryš, Meta; Lenka Škrábalová, Ministry of Industry and Trade; Julie Šislerová, Women in Metaverse; and Jiří Svoboda, Association for Applied Research in IT. Following the panel discussion, the guests had an opportunity to test the Quest Pro headset to witness first-hand how the technology could be used in educational applications.
“As Metaverse technologies are more widely adopted, more economic opportunities will emerge. We may see the opening up of new markets and business models, and create better ways of working, transforming training and development,” said Ambassador Bijan Sabet.
