After the success of Captain Miller, Dhanush is back on set as he begins filming for his project with ace Telugu director Shekhar Kammula. Tentatively titled DNS, the film went on floors earlier today with a formal puja ceremony. The announcement was made by the production banner Sri Venkateswara Cinemas LLP. Notedly, the film would be Dhanush’s second original Telugu film after last year’s Sir.
The film is directed by Shekhar Kammula, who is known for the films Love Story (2021) and Fidaa (2017). It also stars Rashmika Mandanna and Nagarjuna in pivotal roles.
Dhanush has been a busy actor for the past few months. He finished directing his second feature film D50 recently and has already announced his next directorial, which is titled Nilavakku En Mel Ennadi Kovam. He will also collaborate with Anand L Rai on the film Tere Ishq Mein and reunite with director Mari Selvaraj on another film after Karnan (2021).
