As a leading provider of carrier-scale, integrated, open-access digital infrastructure and managed services, WIOCC plays a pivotal role in enhancing Africa’s internet ecosystem. The company connects over 30 African countries with major global financial and commercial hubs, fostering greater economic growth and digital transformation.
The move aligns with WIOCC’s strategy of investing in hyperscale terrestrial networks and multiple subsea cables, including 2Africa, Eastern Africa Submarine Cable System (EASSy), Equiano, and the West Africa Cable System (WACS). These initiatives aim to improve connectivity, reduce latency, and expand broadband access across the continent.
