Hyderabad: A Osmania University team has developed an internet of things (IoT)-based sewage monitoring system to prevent sewerage hazards and protect sanitation workers. Led by Prof. K. Shashikanth from the civil engineering department, the innovation was presented at the ASCE International Conference on Sustainable Smart Cities (CISSC 2025) in Chandigarh.
