If you’re trying to find out if your business rivals are pinching your goods, or to learn if your employees are getting high on their own supply, Qualcomm might just have the asset monitoring solution for you.
Today (7 January 2024), Qualcomm announced an upgrade to Qualcomm Aware, a connected IoT platform designed for tracking assets and goods in large industries.
The new update adds observability, monitoring, and location capabilities to Qualcomm Aware connected devices and services. It’s also pre-integrated into the Qualcomm IoT Solutions Framework, allowing companies to factor in Qualcomm’s monitoring capabilities when deploying a connected fleet or asset tracking system.
The update to Qualcomm Aware now provides cloud-based insights across many of its operative needs, such as granular tracking (fine indoor positioning, temperature, impact, etc.), firmware updates, and device management services to connected devices.
Such information can be helpful to companies who deal with accuracy metrics, be it knowing which high-value goods see an active turnover, if assets get stolen, or whether they need better fleet efficiency and management.
Qualcomm Aware is pre-integrated into select Qualcomm Technologies and third-party processors for the enterprise tech sector. Learn more here.
