Ntsay visited China to attend the Forum on China-Africa Local Government Cooperation, held in southern Guangzhou on Tuesday to explore development opportunities for African countries by strengthening cooperation and friendship among peoples.
Some 350 delegates, including political leaders, officials, and heads of organizations from China and Africa, attended the event.
They agreed to enhance cooperation among local governments to share governance experiences, joint responses to problems, and achieve mutual benefits.
During the meeting, Ntsay witnessed the signing of a letter of intent to strengthen friendly exchanges and cooperation between the city of Foshan, in Guangdong, and Sambava, in Madagascar.
